Well, I'm finishing up "We Just Want To Live Here," an epistolary book between an Israeli teenager and a Palestinian teenager discussing everything from daily life to educational and job opportunities to the intifada.

After that, there's Howard Rheingold's "Smart Tribes," which looks at the social implications of text-messaging technologies. Text messaging helped change an Asian government, for example. Or else, it'll be "Neoconomy," a book discussing the Bush administration's wonderful long-term plan to shift the entire American tax burden onto the middle and lower classes so the economy can boom and prosper with money freed up for investment.

: I'm very curious as to what folks have been reading. I just finished reading a great book about the Stonewall Riots. Fascinating stuff, though a bit depressing. what have you been reading?
