Oh heck, I'm going to date myself by saying this but The Saint has been forever tainted (for me) by Roger Moore's portrayal. He was very well suited to playing The Saint, indeed, and that just made him to wrong for Bond. I know, I know, there are a lot of Moore-Bond fans out there but I'm old school, I like Connery :).

Guys, don't slap my wrist, but I've never read a Charteris Saint novel. Should I?
