: : : Not sure if this was asked on the Forum before, but Greg has such incredible Women in his literary stable. Several of them have been torn down, only to rise above adversity and much pain. Survivors.

: : : So who's your favorite and why?

: My current faves come mainly from comics, as I've read more of Greg's work there than in the books. They're Tara Chace, Renee Montoya, Sasha Bordeaux, and Wonder Woman. Tara is on the list because she holds her own in a very difficult and dangerous profession. Also, she shows how a woman can be tough without showing enough tit to embarrass a Playboy bunny. Renee is here for the same reasons, but also he managed to keep me interested in her even when she did some incredibly dumbass actions. Also, whenever she and Daria were together, they were a couple in love and not a pair put together for the leering fanboys. Sasha managed to humanize the Batman and even upstaged him at times. Wonder Woman is here because I've loved the idea of the character but not necessarily the way she's been written over the years. Greg showed that he thought through Diana very thoroughly.

: BTW, Greg, will DC greenlight a graphic novel telling the story of Diana and Io's relationship?

Yikes, I can't believe I neglected to mention Montoya from the literal stable (or would that be harem?). Especially since the series was just ended. Will miss it, since the story-telling is akin to reading a Rucka novel. The character focus would change as would Ed or Greg writing it. Truly seamless hand-offs. One of the few comics I would read slllooowwly (which is tough when you buy 65 a month) to get the full impact of dialogue, and sombre artwork.

thanks Peter!!!
