I would love to see this movie made! It has become very near and dear to my heart.
It was the first Greg Rucka novel I had read and the first chapter(s) were almost a mirror of my life at the time. So I connected to Atticus instantly and swore my allegiance to Greg right then and there.
I would love to see a movie, tho I would be terrified of some Hollywood putz screwing it all up.

: We've always heard it voiced that Keeper wasn't a possiblity for the screen due to it's sensitve topic and how political it was. Well I was reading recaps from the Cannes Film Festival this year and the movie that took top honors. Seems it might be opening in the U.S. soon as well. Does this mean perhaps that times have changed a bit and the audiences are felt able to handle such topics? Or would this still be taboo and be kept for unpopular films that won't be played in most theateres?
: This year's top prize went to 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, an emotionally wrenching Romanian drama about a woman helping a friend seek an illegal abortion in the waning days of the Communist regime. It's expected to open in the U.S. later this year or next.
