Rucka-fans,
I just want to complain out loud here. I have my Patriot Acts copy, but am 'turning on' my buddies to the Atticus books. Also, wanted to purchase some other Patriot Acts copies for friends. Many in my readers circle, are fellow 'completists' and wanted to start from the Atticus beginning.
------------------------------------
I have a large Borders Books nearby, they had Rucka catalogue but ZERO Patriot Acts. Can't tell if they sold out or under-ordered. I then went to Barnes & Noble - again I expected a stack in the front speed tables and they weren't. There was only one copy in the Mystery section, and zero of Atticus catalogue. I'm going to be making some 'blind' calls to these stores pretending to ask if it came out this week to see what they say, and criticize accordingly to their response when they say they have zero.
I'll also be checking out other large stores, to "do my part" for Greg sales.
------------------------
It gets better, I checked 'supplies' on Amazon.com - it states they have 1 new copy of Keeper, 2 copies of Smoker and 5 of Shooting.
Is this making any sense to anyone?
You would think when a new book of a series comes out
they would stock up on the catalogue.
On a different thread someone commented on what a dedicated group we Rucka fans are. That stuck with me,
so I'm trying to do my part for a great writer, and a sincerely nice guy.
