One Of Erika's Favorite Authors Is Gone

Catching up on the news, I learn that Madeleine L'Engle recently died at the age of 88. Given that Atticus Kodiak once gave Erika Wyatt a set of Madeleine L'Engle books as a birthday present and that Erika cherished that set, it wouldn't surprise me to hear that there's a moment of sadness in one small part of the Kodiakverse.

For my part, I confess to only having read "A Wrinkle In Time" and "The Arm Of The Starfish" far too long ago and have utterly forgotten the details of those books.
