: I just started reading Rucka's books. I got the first and loved it and immediately got the rest. I just finished Patriot Acts and have to say I thought this one slowed down - a lot! I hated that he killed Nat and not once did he mention Erika - where was she supposed to be for 3 1/2 years? I just felt a little blurb about sending her a note somehow to let her know he was alive was warranted (could have used her attny). I understood not letting the rest of the guys know, but come on - he deserted Erika once before and said he'd never do it again, but didn't he in this book? Maybe I'm more sensitive to the matter as I read all of his books in a row with out reading anything in between...??? It was an okay read, but after the others a bit of a let down. (p.s. I was really looking forward to Dan & Nat hooking up and having their own book.)
