: I've contributed the piece "(A Woman's) Blood Cleanses Honor" to the benefit anthology "Nothing But Red."  The book, which just came out today, is a collection of writings and artwork responding to the honor killing of Du'a Khalil Aswad.

: Joss Whedon learned of the killing and wrote an impassioned essay entitled "Nothing But Red."  Inspired by Whedon's essay, 70 contributors/fans from around the world have offered their take on either the Aswad killing or misogyny.

: Proceeds from the book will benefit Whedon's favorite charity Equality Now.  This organization promotes justice and equality for women worldwide.

: The book is not available in stores but can be ordered at the link below as either a POD book or an e-book.

: Before you say it, yes this is a bit of self-promotion.  But the cause is a good one.
