I remember your post about Dancing Aztecs - that's a keeper, too. Have you ever read Chinaman's Chance by Ross Thomas? As diverse as Thomas' novels are, that one is often named as most people's favorites. I know it's mine, along with The Eighth Dwarf (no humor, despite its title) and The Fourth Durango.

Skin Tight! My FAVORITE Hiassen! There's something about the bad guy using White-Out as a cosmetic that never fails to make me grin :). Lansdale is another wonderfully funny, as well as just wonderfully talented, (The Bottoms) author. His Mucho Mambo is still my fav, probably because it's the first Hap n' Leonard novel I ever read. Has anyone heard the latest about the sequel to Bubba Hotep?

I read Christoper Moore's The Stupidest Angel last year and just loved its goofiness. Zombies for Christmas? That's MY kinda holiday! LOL
