Happy Holidays to you, James, to Maggie and Greg, and all of your
families.

Nothing so great to report this holiday other than spending it with
family and friends in the great Garden State, New Jersey (although,
even as I type that, I'm happy to be back home in Virginia). Can't ask
for much more than that, though.

I do have a renewed appreciation for rain on frozen roadways, and
discovered that, in choosing a parking place, cleaning bird-poop off a
car is more economical than replacing a dented bumper. Life's little
lessons... :-)
