: The book for me was Charlotte's Web. :) I was in the third grade, and our morning teacher read us a passage from the book everyday. I just adored her, so I hung on her every word anyway. :) But that story had a huge affect on me. It deeply moved me, and  expanded my love of books overall. She also read us Chitty,Chitty,Bang,Bang-what a fun book! :) Anyone else have a childhood recollection of some book that made you fall in love with books and reading?
