On Lehane, I actually tried to read Mystic River and it has (maybe) the dubious honor of being the only book I couldn't read because it was too dark. Usually i like the "dark stuff" but man, the first 100 pages of that one were too much. I'll try Darkness, Take My Hand though, if only cause i loved Shutter Island so much.

AS far as Block and Jefferson, I think I tried a Block once but am not sure, Jefferson not yet. I'll add them to the list though, and give 'em a shot!
