: This is my first time posting so I wasn't sure about the spoiler thing. I am referring of course to what happens to Natalie Trent in Patriot Acts.Several people have alluded to it...
: Anywho- I want to say I am a big fan of Mr.Rucka! I got hooked on his books when I went to the library and stumbled upon Finder and Keeper by pure chance. I then spent the next few months beating the bushes to find Shooting At Midnight,Smoker,and finally Critical Space. I even got into the Tara Chace novels.I have had security and firearms training so I can totally appreciate some of the scenarios. I especially identified with Natalie Trent and her sniper training.
: That said, I am so upset by Natalie's apparent murder in Patriot Acts!Why her? I just can't say that was my favorite book at all. 
: Is there any way that Natalie may not really be dead? I mean like maybe she wakes up without a memory yet knows her way around firearms and wonders why-a whole Phoenix rising from the ashes sort of tale? I have been weaving this alternate story in my head. It could work! I mean this is fiction,right?Come on! Bring Nat back!!!
