After you've worked your way completely through Greg's oeuvre, you should try Dennis Lehane's series novels featuring Pat Kenzie and Angie Gennaro or, perhaps, Robert Crais' Elvis Cole series.

: What does everybody else think of these?

I thought Dennis Lehane's Shutter Island was amazing. Just a terrific book. Read one of his series, I believe it was A Drink Before War. If memory serves I thought it was good, but probably not spectacular. Never tried Robert Crais, maybe I'll grab one.

Also just read the new Harlan Coben. Formuliac but still a good page turner. I have to say though, that Coben's Gone for Good was stellar.

Another wildly underrated guy is Steve Hamilton whose Alex Mcknight series has yielded 6 excellent books. Check him out, you won't be dissapointed.
